Every September, Write Around the Murray welcomes a diverse audience to Albury Wodonga for a festival of storytelling. We were engaged by our long-term client Albury City to create a new brand which would clarify its point of difference and allow it to stand with pride alongside other literary festivals around Australia.

We facilitated a brand workshop with the various stakeholders of Write Around The Murray, then developed a comprehensive brand strategy which clarified its values, point of difference, positioning and personality. A literary-inspired typeface and a suite of supporting graphics has since been rolled out on programs, posters and merchandise.

The new brand has helped us to be bolder and clearer about who we are, to rethink and refine our image, identity and tone of voice. It allows us to be creative, playful and serious – great for a festival with a diverse program and audience. We’re definitely more visible and noticeable. We love it.
